Received word yesterday that Travelers is providing all California Personal Auto Insurance customers a 10% credit on auto premiums from July 1 and December 31, 2020. This is in addition to the credits they have already given for April, May and June. Checks will start going out this month. Give me a call if you’d like a second opinion on your auto insurance and take a look at Travelers or possibly another carrier. I’m here to help!

If you are required to have flood insurance on your home, rentals, or commercial property, you may want to look into private flood insurance. The rates are often half of the FEMA plans. I just reduced a clients rate from $2,400 to $1,200 on his apartment complex. If you haven't looked at yours since you bought your property, It's time! Call or message me if you'd like to review yours!

Arent all flood insurance rates the same?

Although the majority of flood policies are sold by insurance agents through FEMA, there are some private companies that are now offering coverage (highly rated A XV (excelled) by AM Best). These companies may offer better rates and shorter waiting periods than offered by FEMA. They are also lender approved!

Although it remains small, the size of the private market in Pennsylvania more than tripled in a two-year period.

If you are required to have flood insurance and have not looked at private flood insurance, you may want to take a look. In our experience, people are saving around 40% compared to the National Flood Program. If you plan on buying a home soon and are in a flood zone, make sure you know your options.
