Our Story

What started as job searches, turned into a fun adventure. In 2010, the idea of starting a marketing firm had been percolating for quite some time. But we thought, "what kind of marketing organization do we want to build?" There are thousands of marketing companies, and competition can be downright fierce. Obviously, finding the right niche was important.

When we were putting together the business plan, we sought advice from several colleagues. We had the great fortune to have worked with and for them at some of the best Fortune 500 companies. A few had started their own businesses of various types so, we knew we would get some great, balanced advice. We were told that we should focus on what we do well. We were told we should target just a couple of market sectors, to start. We were also told that no matter what we planned the company to be, it would probably morph into something else.

It did.

Our plan was to help companies develop and launch tactical marketing programs and create strong partnerships with complementary organizations in their markets. We were successful in assisting clients in North America and Europe. One day, a former marketing partner of ours asked if we could help him with something a little different—more on that in a moment.
