Words cannot fully express how truly grateful I am to The Apistar Foundation, Inc. I feel genuinely honored to have been chosen as one of the recipients of the Apistar Foundation, Inc. Scholarship, which supported my college education for four years. Being an accounting student is challenging—balancing life is much like balancing a trial balance. Every semester, I pushed myself, constantly telling myself, “I have to do better.” This was not only because I had a strong academic background but also because our school policy was very demanding. With a zero-based grading system and strict grade retention policies, failure meant either re-enrolling or switching to another course. During my two years as an accounting student, I earned a spot on the Dean’s List for two semesters because of my hard work and perseverance. I also balanced my academic life while serving as a leader in my department's organization. The encouragement and support from The Apistar Foundation, Inc. strengthened my determination and work ethic. Because of this, I remained a consistent Dean’s List student for another two years as a BSAIS student. Even though the journey took longer than I expected, I can proudly say that I will finally be a degree holder. Malaki ang naitulong ng Apistar Foundation sa aking buhay upang makapagtapos ako ng pag-aaral sa loob ng apat na taon. I am proud to be one of the scholars of Apistar Foundation, Inc. Ikaw ay naging isang inspirasyon upang magpursige at magsikap, at upang masigurong hindi masasayang ang lahat ng tulong na ipinagkaloob ninyo sa akin. I am very happy to share that next year I will officially hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System degree from PHINMA University of Iloilo. I know that the words “thank you” are not enough to express how grateful I am, especially to Sir Ferriol C. Apistar. I truly appreciate your kindness and generosity in giving me this opportunity. If I become successful one day, I will always look back with gratitude because without the help of The Apistar Foundation, Inc., I might have struggled financially throughout those four years. Dear Apistar Foundation Family,

I am writing to sincerely thank you for selecting me as a recipient of The Apistar Foundation, Inc. scholarship. I am truly honored and grateful for your generosity in funding my education. Your support has been a great help, especially during times when continuing my college studies felt difficult.

During my first year, I faced many struggles and challenges in college. Despite these difficulties, I stayed determined to pursue my dreams and continue my education. With your support and encouragement, I was able to persevere and move forward. Thanks to the Apistar Foundation, I am now a fourth-year college student, expected to graduate in June 2026. Your assistance has allowed me to focus on my studies and aim for academic excellence. I have consistently been named to the Dean’s List in the Bachelor of Industrial Technology program, Major in Architectural Drafting Technology. With your continued support, I am confident I will be able to graduate next year.

I also want to express my deepest appreciation to Sir Ferriol C. Apistar. Because of your kindness and unwavering support, I am one step closer to earning my degree and building a successful future. Your belief in students like me has made a lasting impact on my life.

I had founded the Apistar Foundation on September 18, 2004, the purpose of the foundation is to provide scholarship assistance to underprivileged students in the Philippines. I hope to see these young people earn a degree and later make an impact in their profession, family life, and community. I believe that even the little contribution I make can spark hope for the people in the Philippines. I am one person who believes that the efforts of one can make a difference in another person's life.
The scholarship program has been implemented for ten (10) years and had benefitted more than fifty(50) grantees. Many of the scholars of the Apistar Foundation are now practicing their chosen profession and are lucratively employed in the different parts of the Philippines and abroad.
We also implemented development programs geared toward the promotion of sports, culture, and value education. We jointly sponsored local government units and sports associations in town conducted sports competitions in soccer, football, basketball, and lawn tennis. We sponsored medical-dental missions and donated medical supplies, equipment, and surgical instruments to various local community hospitals and rural health centers. We donated computers, books, and school supplies to hundreds of school children and schools. We conducted Christmas parties and gift-giving for poor children and children with disabilities. We also conducted humanitarian aids to affected families of super-typhoon Haiyan(Yolanda) in Estancia, Iloilo, Philippines last year.
We have gone to great lengths and self-sacrifices to accomplish our goals of educating and giving hope to impoverished people in our country and breaking up the cycle of poverty, so they may lift themselves with dignity…
