Take a quick mental inventory…

✅ Flashlight (with good batteries)
✅ Phone charger
✅ First aid kit
✅ Jumper cables
✅ Tire pressure gauge
✅ Bottled water
✅ Blanket (especially during colder months)

You hope you never need these items but when you do, you’ll be glad they’re there.

Here’s one that surprises a lot of people…

⛽ Don’t wait until your gas light comes on to fill up.

Running your tank too low can:
❌ Leave you stranded farther from a gas station than you expected.
❌ Increase the chance of pulling sediment from the bottom of the tank into your fuel system.
❌ Turn a simple errand into a call for fuel delivery.

A good habit is to fill up when you hit ¼ tank instead of waiting for the warning light.

It’s one of the easiest ways to avoid an unnecessary roadside emergency.

That little light on your dashboard isn’t there for decoration. 👀

One of the most expensive mistakes drivers make is ignoring warning lights because “the car seems fine.”

Here’s a quick rule:

🟢 Green/Blue = Information
🟡 Yellow/Orange = Have it checked soon
🔴 Red = Stop driving as soon as it’s safe and address the issue immediately

A flashing check engine light? That’s not a “wait until payday” light. That’s a “pay attention right now” light.

The sooner you catch a problem, the better chance you have of avoiding a breakdown or a costly repair.
