Position Description
The Custodial Technician is responsible for performing cleaning and support functions to keep the CDI Services facility orderly, aesthetically pleasing, clean, and sanitary, and to maintain a first-class first impression for visitors and team members.
This is a full-time position with overtime as required. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of materials, equipment, and methods used in the cleaning and upkeep of buildings
Attention to detail
Able to perform a variety of physical activities and cover large spaces
Experience with various basic computer software
Positive attitude, able to work cooperatively
Communicates with appropriate interpersonal and written skills
Exhibits desire for continuous education and training
Able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
Business conduct and integrity
Self-starter and motivated individual who works independently
Commitment to safety
Technical Knowledge
Sweep, dust, arrange furniture, empty trash, and set up for activities
Wash walls, woodwork, and windows; clean and polish metal surfaces
Clean and maintain hard and soft surface floors
Wet mop and spot clean hard and soft surface floors
Clean, sanitize, and deodorize restrooms
Order and replenish disposable products, including custodial and maintenance supplies
Observe and report the need for repairs to facilities, furniture, fixtures, etc.
Maintain lawns, landscaping, concrete, and blacktop surfaces, including pedestrian walkways, snow, and ice removal
Maintain vending inventory across the site, stock machines
Work a revised schedule during emergency periods and substitute for other custodial staff
Maintain and operate security systems; open and secure buildings, as required
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
