All affinity specialty groups come together for an opening chat and/or presentation, then break out into the respective areas of interest (fundraising, marketing, and volunteer coordination) to share ideas with each other.

“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” — Martin Luther King Jr.

Earlier this week, members of the Bekoz team were honored to put that message into action by supporting a Maternal Health Resource Fair in Waldorf, Maryland. The event brought together families, advocates, and local organizations dedicated to expanding access to vital maternal health resources and education.

This work reflects more than a moment of service, it represents the Bekoz Movement and our culture of service and impact. At Bekoz, we believe meaningful change happens when purpose meets action, and when showing up for our communities is part of who we are, not just what we do.

Service doesn’t end when an event concludes. It continues through sustained commitment, partnership and care. We’re proud of our team for supporting initiatives that strengthen families and promote healthier outcomes for mothers in our community.

Day 1 kicked off virtually, but the impact was very real. 💻

The 2025 National Urban League Conference launched with its virtual experience — bringing together attendees from coast to coast to engage, connect, and activate. And guess who played a part in the digital magic? 👀

The Bekoz team was all in — from digital asset placement to powering live support and driving engagement through gamification. We made sure attendees felt the energy, even from their screens.

Here’s how you can turn this quiet season into a strategic powerhouse:
🔴 Strengthen donor relationships: Send handwritten thank-you notes, share impact updates, or just call to say thank you. A little love now = more loyalty later.
🔴 Reignite lapsed donors: Personalized emails, “we miss you” updates, and re-engagement campaigns can bring past supporters back into the fold.
🔴 Audit & refresh your strategy: Take a good look at your donor data, messaging, and segmentation. Tweak what’s not working. Test what might.
