Thompson Booth At RESCON
Thompson Booth played a key role in the overall success of the recent RESCON (Resiliency Conference) in New Orleans, LA. We were called upon to provide speakers and facilitators for some of the key presentations of the conference, including a session dealing with an international aspect of resiliency. We recruited our friend and colleague, Monsieur Christian Sommade, the Executive Director of the French High Committee for Civil Defense, and Director of Resiliency. At our request, Executive Director Sommade travelled from his Paris offices to provide an in depth analysis of the Paris terror attacks of November 13, 2015 for a standing room only crowd.
Thompson Booth also hosted Executive Director Sommade for two closed door, law enforcement only, sessions in which he provided his perspective on terrorist attacks perpetrated both in France and the United States. Given his position with the French Gendarmerie, Executive Director Sommade was in high demand during his visit.
In addition, both CEO Joseph Booth and Vice President Pat Santos provided key assistance to the conference in facilitating numerous panels of speakers and providing many networking opportunities for conference participants.
