We are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our staff! If you or someone you know fits the bill, we want to meet you!

SCHEDULE:

4:30pm - 2:00am Monday to Friday

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of the maintenance technician will be to support and maintain necessary manufacturing equipment to achieve kpc’s business objectives and goals. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing a wide range of duties in a safe and proactive manner that include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basic understanding of electrical systems.
Safely troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic problems, and making the appropriate repairs through-out the plant.
Installation and moving of equipment as needed.
Work with a sense of urgency.
Modify schedule as needed to maximize plant output, ie: work off-hours and weekends.
Work closely with Production Team on issues, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Journeyman a Plus
Minimum High School Requirement or GED.
Continued Education, Technical Certificates, Degree preferred.
Corrugated Converting experience a plus.
1-2 years of Electronic-Mechanical maintenance, installation and troubleshooting a plus.
Fully computer literate with the Microsoft environment.
Organizational, verbal and written communication.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required.
Possess a willingness to learn.

The Machine Operator Assistant helps the Lead Operator in all aspects of production, machine setups, job cleanups, and troubleshooting. A Machine Operator Assistant is a key component in producing quality products for our customers. A machine Operator Assistant works with primary machines deal with tooling, cutting dies, and ink at a rapid pace.

· Follow the production schedule set by the Machine Operator Lead and the Production Manager

· Participate in setups and cleanups as directed by the Machine Operator Lead

· Responsible for setting up product print according to the manufacturing specification

· Contribute to the production of quality product by following all defined quality procedures

· Help with troubleshooting when needed

· Complete preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the press lead or production manager

· Read, understand, and complete all internal forms and documents (CAD specifications, Factory Orders, Lineup Sheets, etc.)

· Adhere to the safety and quality policies at all times

· Perform other related duties as assigned

· Ability to work overtime when required

· Comply with the Company’s attendance / tardiness standards

POSITION SUMMARY:

Move materials throughout the plant as directed in a time effective manner while focusing on safety and avoiding damage. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, but may take direction from Logistics Manager and requests from warehouse lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Safely operate HI/LO in a fast-paced production setting.

- Make sure finished goods are scanned into the system before transferring them to the proper location in the warehouse. Stack finished goods properly to utilize warehouse space efficiently without damaging other finished and or unfinished goods.

- Ability to work with other HI/LO drivers in a team effort in all areas within the warehouse.

- Additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

- Adhere to the safety and quality policies at all times.

- Comply with the Company’s attendance / tardiness standards.

1st Shift - 6am - 4:30pm - Tuesday - Friday (Overtime on Monday as scheduled)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

The primary role of the GLWC Operator Assistant will be to support the GLWC LEAD in achieving Great Lakes Waxing Company’s (GLWC) business objectives and goals. A GLWC Assistant will be responsible for assisting the machine crew in carrying out daily production activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Feed the wax machine with corrugated boxes

· Unload the wax machine with the finished product, count and stack for banding

· Complete all assigned quality checks

· Maintain a clean work area at all times (properly dispose of scrap and banding)

· Follow all defined work instructions

· Follow all defined safety instructions

· Basic knowledge, understanding, and use of technology related resources

· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

· Adhere to the safety and quality policies at all times

· Comply with the company’s attendance/tardiness standards
