A few weeks ago, Humane Society of West Michigan reached out to our department to offer an opportunity for "puppy therapy," a small initiative they use as a way to say thank you and support first responder wellness.

On Tuesday, the Humane Society & their paw patrol briefly stopped by Fire Station #1, bringing a little extra joy to the firefighters, police officers and other city staff working that day.

We very much appreciate these valued community partnerships. Thank you!
