Wouldn't it be easier if property losses were one size fit all? When identifying water damage and determining which Category of water it is, can be difficult. If a sink overflows, its typically Category 1 Clean water, but what was in the sink? Were there cleaning products, old food, or that paint brush from the latest home project? These questions could change what is cleaned, repaired or replaced!
Category 1 water can quickly become Category 2 Gray water or worse Category 3 Black water requiring you to remove the affected building materials. We know there is not a "one size fits all" so check out our latest blog post to see the tools we say are the minimum standard!
