We are empowering handlers, first responders, caregivers & communities while strengthening both ends of the leash. At Advanced Medevac Unit K9 Training (AMU K9 Training), we are a team of medical providers dedicated to safeguarding the health and well-being of operational K9s through exceptional medical training. Specializing in both advanced and basic level operational K9 medical care, we empower

handlers, first responders, and caregivers with the critical skills needed to deliver high-quality care in the field. Our mission is rooted in ensuring that operational K9s not only perform at their best but also thrive in demanding environments. 📣 CALLING ALL PRESENTERS!

The First Annual AMU K9 Symposium is coming on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and we’re looking for a few dynamic presenters to join our non-clinical education track.

We’re seeking engaging, relevant presentations designed for professionals working alongside and supporting operational K9 teams, including:

🐕‍🦺 Law Enforcement K9 Handlers
🎖️ Military Working Dog Teams
🚨 USAR & Search and Rescue K9 Teams
🚑 EMS & First Responder Professionals

Topics can include leadership, handler wellness, resilience, operational readiness, training, deployment, team dynamics, critical incident response, lessons learned, K9 program development, or another topic you believe would bring real value to the working K9 community.

If you have experience worth sharing, lessons worth teaching, or a conversation this community needs to have, we want to hear from you.

Come be part of a symposium built around the people and K9s who show up when it matters most.
