A special thank you to Christopher Chan and the amazing team he leads for the which is an outstanding wine recognition program that not only identifies the quality of the Northwest’s current vintages, but also takes the time to revisit the promises in those bottles a decade later.

De La Luz Wines is honored to be recognized among this group of producers - especially for one of Victor’s very first vintages produced under his own label. We look forward to coming back for the double diamond of the decade in 2036.

In all seriousness, it’s go time.
Harvest may be done, and our malolactic fermentations are almost done; but for and all those working with us it’s time to dance.
Yes, we have all heard the news, most everyone has decided to partake in a race to the bottom - finding the best deals; but we would rather focus on making the best wines.
So I can promise you this, Victor and I will stay committed to being vigilant in the cellar as we transform our 2025s into a new era of winemaking for us. We will also promise to apply our knowledge and experience with our vineyard partners to prepare the 2026 and future vintages to strive for continued excellence.
So instead of running down the hill, we are running up hill and can’t wait to have you join us and enjoy the view.
