Now Hiring: Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Murphy Family Ventures is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join the team at River Landing in Wallace, NC.

This role supports the maintenance and presentation of the golf course, including tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. The position also assists with the maintenance and repair of motorized and mechanical equipment used throughout the course.

You'll be a great fit if you:
-Have an Associate's degree in Turfgrass Management (preferred)
-Have previous experience working in a golf course-related environment
- Have knowledge of golf course maintenance and turf care
-Are comfortable working with and maintaining mechanical equipment
-Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Salary is dependent upon experience and education. Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan.

🌟 Our Missouri team recently wrapped up the season by hosting an end-of-program dinner to celebrate this year's Murphy Family Ventures internship participants.

The evening was filled with great conversation as everyone reflected on their time across our farm operations, shared memorable moments, and discussed the knowledge and skills gained along the way. One message stood out: this was a learning opportunity they will always remember.

To everyone who participated, thank you for your hard work, curiosity, and commitment throughout the program. Appreciation also goes to the mentors and team members whose guidance helped make this opportunity so meaningful. Best wishes to each participant as they continue pursuing their academic and professional goals.
