SO WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

WELL, the brand either drops off the face of the earth never to be heard from ever again OR we come back stronger with a slightly new direction and full team of people and pick up right where we left off. Either way, the best thing to do right now is take a step back and let life make that decision for us. It’s time to just live life for a little bit and see where it takes us.

In my personal life, there’s a bunch of things I’d still like to accomplish outside of motorsports and now is the PERFECT time to direct my attention elsewhere for a little while. This, of course, doesn’t necessarily mean the brand is 100% never going to be a thing again, I’m always open to giving it another shot if the right opportunity presents itself.

So I’M SAYING THERE’S A CHANCE, that it’ll be back one day. If it DOES come back, we now know what works and more importantly what does not work - the same mistakes will not be made again. FOR ONE, note to self, DON’T TRY TO START A BRAND DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC 📝😂

If you feel like waiting around for a couple years to see what happens here, I made a BRAND NEW Instagram account just to secure the username on a blank slate.

Feel free to follow ➡️

ON THAT NOTE, there’s no better place to end this journey than where it all began - just a 20 something year old kid with a dream and a passion for photography. I’ll leave you with this picture from 2012 or 2013 when I was JUST starting to get a bit more serious about photography. Photography has ALWAYS been one of my favorite creative outlets and will probably remain so for the rest of my life whether I’m trying to do it for a career or just for fun.

Creativity and self-expression is SO important in this dull, boring world - be creative, be different, and most importantly, BE YOU. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll create your own “Wldlfe Collective”, just hopefully not literally, because I’d still like to keep this name for future use potentially 😂

Once again, THANK YOU ALL for collectively making one of my dreams in life to come true.

See ya around.

I feel like I can never truly express how much everyone’s support of this brand meant (and still means) to me personally. I always feel like I sound a bit like a broken record every time I say “thank you so much”, but I do genuinely mean it, so much.

It’s one thing to WANT to create a brand, but when you actually find a way to put it all together and people you’ve never met in real life want to support what you’re doing - that feeling is unlike no other.

What began as an idea in my head actually turned into something, even if only for a short period of time. I took a big risk, it didn’t work out as I hoped it would, but that’s okay. We all had some fun with it and at the end of the day, I’m happy with what we were able to accomplish together.

So once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH…
for EVERYTHING! ❤️

So that JUST ABOUT brings us to the end of our journey back through time and our story as a brand.

Even though we’ve been pretty quiet these past couple of years, our community has still been running STRONG and as they say…LIFE GOES ON. We’ve seen our merch and logo(s) pop up every now and then and it still brings a smile to our face every single time.

We might not have ever really made it “big”, but we still made an impact, and at the end of the day, there’s still A LOT to be proud of!

This was and STILL IS the BEST photo we’ve taken under the “Wldlfe Collective” name.

We were only just getting started back in 2023 - what we COULD have done with this thing will always remain a thought in our minds…

NONETHELESS, we’re INCREDIBLY grateful for all the opportunities we received over the years and the memories we will hold onto for the rest of our lives.

Despite everything that had happened, we decided to head back down to Florida for Daytona since the race is run by the track itself with no photography limitations for spectators.

It was during this weekend that we started tossing around the idea of taking a step back from the brand to explore our options. Unfortunately, you have to find a way to support yourself and at the end of the day, the brand just wasn’t paying the bills. To make the decision much more difficult than it needed to be, we just so happened to take our BEST pictures to date, this being one of them.

It really makes you wonder what could have been if things would have worked out differently, but you can’t dwell on things that are ultimately out of your control 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes you just get lucky.

Though we weren’t allowed to post any photos from the event, we snuck some online from the pits because with the pits themselves not being televised/nationally covered like the race, what harm were we really causing?

As we were walking around the pits early Saturday morning, we stumbled upon an AWESOME moment where Ken Roczen got to check out a vintage replica of his bike. We just so happened to be walking by as he was seeing it for the first time and these were his initial reactions.

Moments like these are why we got into photography in the first place and why we wanted to do what we were trying to do with this brand.

To be honest, we’re still pretty bummed about how this all ended. There are so many “what-ifs” that we’ll never be able to answer. This entire experience really left us with some mixed emotions toward a sport we once loved so dearly.

SO THE STAGE WAS SET.

It was FINALLY time for the first round and we couldn’t have been more excited! We made it down to Tampa with Vinny, he did his thing, we did our thing, and long story short, we couldn’t (legally) post ANY photos we took inside the stadium (and “technically” outside as well) 🥲 We sent an email prior to posting the photos just to make sure we had permission to do so and unfortunately, we were denied permission. ALL the planning, ALL the hard work to get to this point, EVERYTHING was for NOTHING. Don’t get me wrong, I get the rules and understand why you aren’t allowed to post “professional” photos from Supercross events, but I find it a bit extreme to not even allow photos from practice/qualifying, but that’s just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

We were absolutely DEVASTATED and this COMPLETELY stopped us in our tracks. This changed our whole plan for the brand. Without being able to include ANY Supercross content, we were more or less out of content for half of the year (aside from SX training). Unsure of what to do, we took a step back and tried to re-evaluate.

In January of 2023, we headed down to South of the Border with Vinny Luhovey to put together a couple videos of his week preparing for the upcoming Supercross season. Filming a rider on a legitimate Supercross practice track was a first for us and will be always be another one of our favorite moments with the brand. Growing up, we watching all the raw, SX training videos over the years and to be putting out one of our own was pretty surreal.

ALSO, a friendly reminder that BOTH videos are STILL up on the YouTube channel! You can see FIRSTHAND what our week looked like at South of the Border and what other shenanigans we got ourselves into - definitely worth the watch!

In the Fall of 2022, we partnered with Vinny Luhovey and planned to follow his 2023 racing efforts in both motocross AND supercross. We were looking forward to Year 2 of hitting the Pro Motocross circuit and were REALLY excited for some supercross races! It felt like the brand was moving in the right direction and we couldn’t have been more excited for what was to come!

We ended out the season with Budds Creek and Iron Man and all we can really say is WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! We were planning on doing it all over again the following year, but sometimes things just don’t go according to plan. Nonetheless, hanging out in the pro pits and taking pictures/video at five Pro Motocross nationals in 2022 was definitely one of the coolest things we got to do with the brand.

You can STILL experience each weekend for yourself on the YouTube channel INCLUDING track walks!

I personally can’t thank Vincent Harrison enough for memories I’ll hold onto for the rest of my life!

Not gonna lie, Unadilla was PACKED and it was tough finding good angles for photos (especially with the track being as big as it is), but we managed to snag a few good ones, this being our favorite.

This weekend was certainly a “learning” weekend when it came to the media side of things. It was a busy day, but boy was it fun! The next round was Budds Creek with Iron Man the following weekend. You really develop an appreciation for how much traveling the privateers must do each season when you’re along for the ride!
