🚀 Our 3rd Emerging Developer Resource Initiative (EDRI) Cohort Is Underway! We are excited to announce the launch of our third Emerging Developer Resource Initiative (EDRI) cohort!

EDRI is a hands-on real estate development academy designed to bridge the gap between a development concept and its successful ex*****on. Through applied instruction and project-based learning, participants gain the knowledge, tools, and practical experience needed to navigate the full real estate development lifecycle—from vision to completion.

Made possible through the support of Capital for Change, Inc. and the Hartford Community Loan Fund, Inc., this innovative program empowers emerging developers with the resources, connections, and expertise needed to advance impactful projects in their communities.

We look forward to supporting this talented group of participants as they build skills, strengthen networks, and bring new development opportunities to life.

🏗️✨ Another milestone for affordable housing in Connecticut!
We were proud to join city and state leaders in Meriden this week to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Tremont Flats—a transformative redevelopment that brings new life to a historic landmark.

Once home to the Aeolian Organ and Music Company, this long-vacant factory has been reimagined into a modern 82-unit apartment community, with 71 affordable homes that will help expand access to quality housing for residents.

This $56 million project is a powerful example of what’s possible through collaboration. Capital for Change was honored to support Tremont Flats with $9 million in tax credit financing, helping turn vision into reality.

By preserving history while addressing today’s housing needs, Tremont Flats strengthens the community, revitalizes a historic property, and creates opportunity for generations to come. 🏡 Watch video WTIC Hartford News coverage here:
