Quick Tip: Make sure to have a designated workspace when you work at home or your home-base.

If it's possible, try to make sure that it is not in your bedroom. You'll feel more productive and leave your bedroom feeling like it's still a place you can rest.

If your only option is your bedroom, make sure there is a designated space in your room that you can sit at to work each day. As soon as you sit there, you will be able to go into work-mode and still want to be in your bedroom when it comes time to go to sleep.

Want to know a secret on how to feel and be more productive? All you need is a clean workspace whether it's your actual desk, computer or inbox.

A clean workspace can also help you feel less stressed and like you don't have as many things to do.

If you need any help getting to inbox zero or you just want to get rid of that pesky notification with the taunting number of unread emails you have, please send me a message.

Or maybe you have a cluttered desktop and your download folder is full of everything you've saved because you have yet to move it into the appropriate folder. I can also help organize that which will also help you feel less stressed.

If you need any help organizing and cleaning your digital or physical workspace, send me a message. You can message me here on my page or you can send an email to me at [email protected]

Do you ever feel like you have so much to do but can't figure out how to get started with all of it?

At the end of each day, spend 5-10 minutes making a list of things that need to be accomplished the next day.

TIP: Start off completing the items on your list that take the least amount of time. That way you will be able to cross multiple things off your list at the beginning of the day and see how much progress you are making.

Now that you are getting through your email in 15-20 minute blocks, how do you get rid of all those unwanted newsletters??

Email providers these days may have an "Unsubscribe" section that will show you most (I've realized not all) emails that you are subscribed to. In that section, you can unsubscribe quickly and voila! You are no longer subscribed to a ton of newsletters!

If your email doesn't have that option, you can always use a different provider such as unroll.me.

Unsubscribing doesn't get rid of all those emails though. It might actually add emails by sending confirmation emails for unsubscribing.

There's a simple solution to that. Type in the company name (or their email if you know it) in the search bar of your inbox and you'll get all the emails they sent you altogether. Check the "Check All" box and then hit "Delete".

Boom! You've deleted a number of emails at once.

Continue doing that in the 15-20 minute blocks and watch as the number of unread emails goes down.

Hello, hello! It's been a while but I never claimed to be good at constantly posting. I'm working on it though!

Now on to what I actually came to post about.

Although most of us are now working from home, we have some extra time on our hands that we are dedicating to things we want to get done.

One of those things: tackling that inbox with THOUSANDS of emails.

Word of advice: don't try to do it all at once. Dedicate 15-20 minutes at a time and then go to another task before returning. If you do that throughout the day, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how many emails you manage to get through.

Do you have thousands of emails in your inbox? Do you consider most of it to be junk?

Don’t forget that your email can also be organized. You might be subscribed to a bunch of newsletters that you don’t want to be. If so, maybe it’s time to unsubscribe. Getting fewer emails per day will feel less overwhelming.

Here are three options to help you unsubscribe.

1. All email newsletters have an unsubscribe button at the very bottom. You can click on each one individually and unsubscribe that way.

2. Actual email companies (Gmail, Yahoo, etc) will sometimes also offer an unsubscribe button so that you don’t have to scroll to the bottom of the email.

3. For a mass unsubscribing, head on over to www.unroll.me. There you will see all the newsletters you are subscribed to and can unsubscribe faster than going into each individual email.

Stop those annoying emails from cluttering your inbox. Regain control of your email with one simple click.

The beginning of the year can be a good time to get a little organizing done. Start the year out fresh. Get rid of that clutter.

Many people make resolutions to organize. Sometimes, though, time is just too crunched to do it yourself. Why not hire someone to help you out then??

There are home organizers who will get in there and straighten everything out.

There are organizers for work spaces - physical and digital.

Imagine being able to have a clutter-free area that makes you feel more productive and actually helps you accomplish more tasks throughout the day.

Wouldn’t you love that?

Organization isn’t just about entire rooms that are no longer rooms with everything you have stored in there. Organization can be as small as getting some papers filed away or making sure your desk is an area where you know where everything is, near and leaves you feeling stress-free.

No organization job is too big or too small. A clean and neat area will leave you feeling relaxed and more motivated to get work done which will increase your productivity.

Don’t forget that this also applies to the digital workspace.
