As America celebrates its 250th birthday this Independence Day, all of us across the One Planet Group family of companies reflect on the hope, freedom, and opportunity this country has made possible for so many.

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the rich legacy of Black communities across America.

On June 19, 1865, enslaved people in Galveston, Texas finally learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth marks that delayed justice.

As we mark the day, it's worth remembering that emancipation was a beginning, not an ending. The pursuit of true equity in education, economic opportunity, and justice continues today, and each of us has a role in it.
