Is there a puddle of water near your refrigerator? You shouldn't ignore it, most of the time it can usually be corrected without needing any parts and can be fixed within the first appointment. No, need of getting a new one when this can be fixed for much less than a new one would cost. If you let it go, it can cause damage to the cabinets and/ or floors. If your dryer isn't drying the clothes within the first cycle, there are 2 issues that it can be. 1) too many clothes 2) vent/air flow problem. It's not a heating element problem if the heating element is producing heat. it's usually one of the 2 and it can also be both of them. Attached some pictures of what the biggest issue s to this problem. These are only a couple different dryers that were was taking more then one complete cycle to dry.
