We recently produced eight custom power steering line assemblies for the restoration of several classic Lincoln vehicles from the 1960s. Older vehicles often require lines that are no longer available off the shelf, which is where custom fabrication becomes essential.
Our technicians built each line to match the original routing and connection points so the restored steering systems could function reliably again.
Whether it’s modern equipment or vintage vehicles, precision fabrication and attention to detail help ensure systems operate the way they’re designed to.
Custom fabrication, hydraulic hose maintenance, and hydraulic line replacement are just a few of the ways we help customers keep their equipment and vehicles operating properly.

The cost of an excavator sitting idle is usually much greater than the cost of the hydraulic hose.

When a hydraulic hose fails, the real expense often comes from lost productivity, delayed schedules, and crews waiting for equipment to return to service. Every hour an excavator is down can impact operators, labor crews, deliveries, and project timelines.

That's why PIRTEK provides mobile hydraulic hose service directly at the jobsite. Our technicians arrive with a fully equipped hydraulic shop on wheels, identify the damaged hose, remove the failed assembly, determine the correct fittings, fabricate a replacement hydraulic hose on-site, and install the new hose without the machine ever leaving the field.

Instead of pulling a mechanic away from preventive maintenance and other priorities or sending an operator across town to have a hose fabricated, PIRTEK handles the entire process on-site. This helps keep mechanics focused on maintaining equipment, operators focused on production, and projects moving forward.

PIRTEK provides mobile hydraulic hose service and on-site hydraulic support throughout the Greater Boston area and Southern New Hampshire, helping minimize downtime and keep critical construction equipment operating where the work is happening.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. This Patriot Day, the PIRTEK USA team gathered to reflect, remember those we lost, and honor the first responders who answered the call on September 11, 2001.

In that same spirit of service, we also took time to recognize the first responders who serve our local community every day. Our team delivered donuts to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Florida (Official), and lunch to the Rockledge Fire Department as a thank you for their continued service and dedication.

Today and every day, we are grateful for those who serve and protect our communities.

When most people think hydraulic, they think of excavators, loaders, and other construction equipment. The reality is that hydraulics are everywhere.

This service call brought a PIRTEK mobile hydraulic service vehicle to a marina where their specialized gantry crane was critical to daily operations.

Many specialized machines also use unique hydraulic fittings, hose assemblies, and components that can be difficult to identify and source. Our technicians are trained to work with a wide variety of hydraulic systems and arrive equipped to identify fittings, remove damaged hose assemblies, fabricate replacement hydraulic hoses on-site, and return equipment to service as quickly as possible.

Instead of sending a mechanic across town to locate parts or pulling equipment out of service for extended periods, PIRTEK brings the hydraulic shop directly to the jobsite.

PIRTEK provides mobile hydraulic hose service and on-site hydraulic support throughout Greater Boston, Eastern Massachusetts, and Southern New Hampshire, helping customers minimize downtime wherever hydraulics are used.

Hydraulic hose failures don't just cause equipment downtime, they can also create environmental and safety concerns.

During this on-site hydraulic hose service call, our technician contained and collected hydraulic oil before replacing the failed hose assembly. Capturing fluid during hydraulic hose replacement helps prevent unnecessary spills, keeps jobsites cleaner, and reduces the risk of contamination entering the hydraulic system.

Leaking hydraulic oil can also create slip hazards on equipment and around work areas. On construction sites, industrial facilities, and municipal projects, even a small hydraulic leak can create safety concerns for operators, mechanics, and nearby workers.

That's why PIRTEK technicians don't just replace hydraulic hoses. We remove the damaged hose, identify the correct fittings, fabricate a replacement hydraulic hose on-site, install the new assembly, and work to minimize fluid loss throughout the process.

Whether it's construction equipment, municipal machinery, industrial equipment, or specialized hydraulic systems, PIRTEK provides mobile hydraulic hose service throughout Greater Boston, Eastern Massachusetts, and Southern New Hampshire to help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

A leaking hydraulic hose was discovered on this Genie telescopic boom lift at the end of the workday. Instead of pulling the machine out of service and transporting it back to a shop, the customer called PIRTEK.

Our technician arrived on-site first thing the next morning while the crew was in their safety meeting. We located the damaged hose, removed the failed assembly, identified the correct fittings, fabricated a new hydraulic hose directly from our mobile service vehicle, and installed the replacement hose right at the jobsite.

By the time the safety meeting was over, the machine was ready to be tested and returned to service. The operator simply verified everything was functioning properly and got back to work without losing valuable production time.

That's the advantage of PIRTEK mobile hydraulic hose service. Our technicians bring a hydraulic shop on wheels directly to your equipment, allowing us to perform on-site hydraulic hose replacement wherever your machine is working.

From boom lifts and aerial work platforms to excavators, cranes, and industrial equipment, PIRTEK helps customers throughout the Greater Boston area minimize downtime with professional mobile hydraulic hose service and on-site hydraulic support.

When a machine this size stops working, the downtime costs add up fast.

Large wheel loaders are critical pieces of equipment in quarries, aggregate yards, construction sites, and material handling operations. When a hydraulic hose fails, production can slow down or stop entirely while crews wait for the machine to return to service.

PIRTEK mobile hydraulic hose service brings a hydraulic shop on wheels directly to the equipment. Our technicians can identify the failed hose assembly, remove the damaged hose, determine the correct fittings, fabricate a replacement hose on-site, and install the new assembly without the machine ever leaving the jobsite.

Many heavy equipment applications use larger hydraulic hoses that aren't always available from local suppliers or stocked on contractor service trucks. Our mobile service vehicles carry hydraulic hose and fittings up to 1-1/4" (-20), and our service centers support even larger high-pressure and return-line applications.

PIRTEK provides mobile hydraulic hose service and on-site hydraulic support throughout the Greater Boston area and Southern New Hampshire, helping customers minimize downtime and keep critical equipment operating where the work is happening.

Keeping heavy equipment running isn't just about responding to breakdowns—it's about preventing downtime before it impacts operations.

Whether it's wheel loaders, construction equipment, aggregate equipment, or industrial machinery, hydraulic hoses and hydraulic components experience constant wear from pressure, vibration, weather, and daily use. Identifying potential issues before a hose failure occurs can help avoid costly downtime and keep crews productive.

PIRTEK provides mobile hydraulic hose service and on-site hydraulic support throughout the Greater Boston area and Southern New Hampshire. Our technicians come directly to your equipment, inspect hydraulic systems, identify worn hose assemblies, remove damaged hoses, fabricate replacement hydraulic hoses on-site, and install them without requiring equipment to leave the jobsite.

For fleet operators, contractors, municipalities, and industrial facilities, keeping critical equipment available and ready for work is essential. Our mobile hydraulic service helps customers minimize downtime, reduce transportation costs, and keep equipment operating where the work is happening.

When uptime matters, PIRTEK helps keep your equipment moving.

Custom hydraulic fabrication completed for a customer in the Greater Boston area needing hydraulic hose fabrication for a complex hydraulic assembly.
This project required a banjo fitting brazed onto a steel tube, with a JIC adapter brazed onto the opposite end so it could connect properly to a hydraulic hose. The steel tube also required three-axis bending, meaning the alignment had to be precise for the assembly to fit and function correctly.
Fabrications like this require specialized tools and experience to ensure proper hose routing, leak-free connections, and reliable hydraulic system performance.
Projects like this highlight the value of experienced technicians when it comes to custom hydraulic fabrication, hydraulic hose maintenance, and hydraulic line replacement across Greater Boston.

Some people see a PIRTEK service vehicle and assume it's just picks up damaged hoses to bring back to a shop or drop off replacement hoses. In reality, it's a fully equipped mobile hydraulic service center designed to fabricate hose assemblies directly at the jobsite.

Our service vehicles have a wide range of hydraulic hose up to 1-1/4 inches, fittings, adaptors, crimper, saw, and the tools needed to support construction equipment, industrial machinery, fleet vehicles, and hydraulic systems in the field.

Most people notice the hose inventory and crimping equipment. What they don't notice are the hose cleaning pellets that help us remove contamination before a new hose assembly is crimped.

As part of the fabrication process, we use compressed air and cleaning pellets to remove debris from inside the hose before installation. This helps reduce the risk of contamination entering hydraulic pumps, valve bodies, and other critical components.

PIRTEK provides mobile hydraulic hose service and on-site hydraulic support throughout the Greater Boston area and Southern New Hampshire, helping customers minimize downtime while maintaining the reliability of their hydraulic systems.

Bonus question: Can you spot the hose cleaning pellets in the service vehicle?
