Our latest project in Kent County Delaware transforms a former tree farm into a source of clean, . The trees on this property were already scheduled for harvest, making it a natural transition to and a new way for the land to continue serving the community.

Projects like Hammondtown show how renewable energy can balance innovation, land stewardship, and community benefit — helping power a brighter future for Delaware

Last week, our team flew to Maryland—not just to check in on a community solar project, but to give back to local heroes who keep their communities safe.

We had the honor of visiting three incredible volunteer fire departments— Hurlock Volunteer Fire Company, East New Market VFC and Federalsburg Volunteer Fire Company —to hand-deliver donation checks and hear firsthand about the challenges they face and the pride they take in serving.

At ECA Solar, we believe our impact should go beyond the solar projects that we build. That’s why we’re launching Beyond the Grid—an initiative dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and giving back to the communities we work in. 🤝

To kick things off, we’re proud to support Little Sisters of Jesus & Mary/Joseph House, a nonprofit dedicated to serving the poor and homeless across the Lower Shore counties of Maryland and Virginia.

Development Manager Jack Rowland, took the time to hand deliver our donation and spent the rest of the day volunteering—stocking hard to reach shelves and assisting with daily operations.

We are excited to see this program grow alongside the communities we support and relationships we build along the way.

This past weekend, ECA Solar was proud to support the 2025 Carbondale Coldest Night of the Year walk ran by the Carbondale Warming Center.

With the help of incredible volunteers and fellow sponsors, the event came to life at Carbondale Community High School, bringing people together for a meaningful cause.

We joined local residents in walking laps to raise awareness and funds for the Warming Center, ensuring support for those in need.

The night was filled with live music, delicious desserts, and a warm meal—proudly sponsored by ECA Solar—to show our love and support for the Carbondale community.

Check out this video for a glimpse into the event! ⬇️
