Bavarian Waste

Bavarian Waste We provide industrial waste hauling and disposal services to the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincin And so it began.

To better understand Bavarian Trucking, we must go back to its beginnings. In 1901, Ben Brueggemann founded a horse drawn line in Covington, Kentucky. When Ben died in the influenza epidemic of 1917, Lawrence, his eldest son was entrusted with continuing the business. Lawrence saw the transportation industry changing from horse driven to trucks moving freight. In 1934, Lawrence formed and incorpor

ated his own company, which he named the "Bavarian Trucking Company." The operation was then housed in part of the old Bavarian Brewery buildings at 533 Pike Street in Covington, which had closed due to prohibition. Thus the name of the company was inspired by this Northern Kentucky landmark. During the '50s, there emerged a need for residential and industrial waste disposal, which fitted well with Bavarian's available excavating services. From there began a gradual progression from freight handling to waste disposal. In 1959, landfills compatible with the surrounding environment were located and secured. Trucks were modified for trash hauling and customer routes were established. Although Bavarian Trucking has expanded to offer service in thirteen Kentucky counties, plus three in Indiana and four in Ohio, it has remained a family company, guided by the same principles and beliefs held by Ben Brueggemann back in 1901. Since the Brueggemann Trucking firm began in 1901, the original horse drawn has given way to a fleet of state-of-the-art refuse trucks possessing the greatest reliability and efficiency of refuse collection modern technology has to offer. In 1901 a handshake between honorable men was as binding as any contract. Almost 100 years later, that principle is preserved with the Bavarian Trucking Company and its customers. We refuse to engage in "bait and switch" schemes. On the contrary, at Bavarian, our introductory price is our firm price.
