Our team celebrated a big accomplishment yesterday! 🎉

The ADOPT Grant is officially complete! Sunset Zoo was our final location, bringing the total to 124 Wi-Fi access points installed throughout common areas in Manhattan.
This project has not only expanded Internet access across Manhattan but has already connected hundreds of people in our community.

We're incredibly thankful to the Kansas Department of Commerce and our community partners for making this possible and trusting our team to successfully complete another grant-funded project.

WTCtv customers, please be aware of the possibility of Solar Fade and/or Sun Transit Interference interrupting your WTCtv service today through approximately October 15.

During the spring and fall equinoxes, the Sun passes behind communications satellites, overpowering the satellite's signal. This can potentially cause a loss of audio and snowy / no picture.

The interruption should last no longer than 30 minutes at a time. If you experience prolonged loss of service, please call our 24/7 Help Desk (877.982.1912).

Big things happen when a community comes together!

WTC Fiber is proud to have completed a community-wide public Wi-Fi project bringing 124 Wi-Fi access points to parks, recreation facilities, nonprofit organizations, public service agencies and other community spaces across Manhattan and Riley County.

Representing an investment of more than $830,000, this project is about making reliable internet more accessible in the places where our community lives, learns, works and gathers.

Made possible through the ADOPT program and support from local partners, this project is an investment in connection today and opportunities for the future.

We’re proud to call this community home and even prouder to help keep it connected. 💙
