Michael and I first met last summer through a mutual friend who said we had a lot in common. We met for lunch and immediately connected as if we had been friends for years. He shared about a special woman in his life, and I was impressed with the level of integrity he had in approaching his relationship with Julie. Their love for Jesus and serving together is the glue that binds them. It was an honor to be there on your wedding day to help tell the story of your lives! -el

Zach’s (March) Madness themed Mitzvah at in Morristown was a blast! With basketball games on various screens/monitors and plenty of other action with the virtual sports competitions, there was no lack for fun this evening.

The challenge of an outdoor, summer wedding is always the unpredictability of the weather. Well, Tori and Tino got just about every weather system that the skies could bring! They weren't going to let that stop them from moving forward. Set against the backdrop of her grandparents' beautiful farm property, the rain stopped just in time for the ceremony. From start to finish, the day brought about some wonderful emotions, rekindling of family connections and plenty of laughs!

It's hard to find the words to express the pride that is welling up inside of me. It's not a pride of self glorification or arrogance, but rather one of exuberance for seeing the years of hard work, grid, dedication and determination come to ultimate fruition for a former student of mine, Kyle Rose. He took the stage by storm this past Saturday, as he won FIRST PLACE in the Men's Classic Physique Open Class C, competing against 4 other well-qualified contenders.

Kyle, it has been an honor to see the transformation you have made from a stocky young 8th grader in my German class to the chiseled, muscle-clad man or character that you are today! This path has not been easy, as I know you've experienced bumps along the way. However, you are impacting the lives of others around you in a way that you may not yet fully realize! I'm excited to continue following your journey and to encourage and support you in any way I can!

Being a part of your brother's wedding is special already, but when he and his fiancée ask you to photograph it, things take on a whole new element. Although it had to be moved indoors, due to the rain, it was a beautiful, God-centered ceremony...I even found myself holding back tears at times! Here's a small snippet of what took place before the wedding...there's nothing more thrilling than seeing a groom emotionally moved when he sees his bride for the first time on the wedding day! Thanks for allowing me the honor to be there with you two and to capture this most exciting day!!

Was für eine Ehre das war, für dieses wunderbare Paar die Hochzeitstrauung und Feier zu fotografieren!! Zwei unterschiedliche Kulturen wurden eine Familie und es wurde ordentlich sehr schön gefeiert...bis in die frühen Stunden. ;) Kränholm war der perfekte Ort und alle haben dafür gesorgt, dass der Tag unvergesslich war! Danke für eure liebe Gastfreundschaft in Bremen, und ich hoffe, dass euch diese Vorschau gefällt!!

There's something magical about a NYE wedding, and these two hosted the party of the year!! Who wouldn't want to have their closest friends and family celebrating not only a new year beginning, but also the start of their new life together! Although the weather turned a bit colder and windier than expected, these two toughed it out for a first look outdoors. The New York Red Bulls just got a new member, and although she won't be playing on the field with Connor in any games, Morgan is officially part of the team now. ;)

Summer weddings always seem to carry with them the chance of unpredictable weather. We had it beat this time...or so we thought. Bright skies graced us in the morning and early afternoon, but after the ceremony, the dark skies rolled in, and caught us by surprise a couple times, as can be seen in several photos. Lauren and Tom just rolled with it, and that really reflects how they are any other day. From Pompton Plains, to Kinnelon, to Andover and then to Perona Farms, the day couldn't have been better for them, their family and friends. I loved spending time with both of you...enjoy your sneak peeks while I finish up the rest of your photos very soon!

Connor and I share a love for the beautifuf game of soccer...he's just a lot better than I am! His love for soccer as a member of the New York Red Bulls team in the MLS is trumped by the obvious love he has for his beautiful wife to be, Morgan. Before he escaped to sunny Florida for pre-season training camp, we were able to squeeze in their engagement session in the fresh snow and beautiful scenery of NW NJ. They figured they better get used to what the weather might be like for their wedding this upcoming New Year's Eve. :)

Santa Claus didn't come to town, but in kicking off their Christmas tour, Rush of Fools sure did, and they brought with them the band More Than This, as well as speaker Actin Bowen. What a great show this was. They mixed in some of their older music with some of the new stuff and a few renditions of well-known Christmas songs. What a great evening this was!!
