We are extremely conscientious, customer-service oriented, and committed to providing quality service to the local departments. We frequently see our customers and apparatus we have worked on at local firematic events and are always available for questions, suggestions, and support. So after testing nearly 6000 pumps over the years, last week was a first for us! We operated and tested the only (2) SAM controlled pump panels currently in service on Long Island.

Admittingly, we are old-school and generally prefer manual controls, gauges, etc. However, everything in this world is moving towards electronics and automation whether we like it or not. The SAM system replaces all the manual linkages with touch-screen controls, digital readouts, and automatic pressure control of each line individually, as well as many other benefits.

At the end of the day the systems worked flawlessly. It certainly did not hurt that we had some training from IDEX a couple weeks earlier at the Long Island EVT meeting!
