Amy & Adriana have had a particularly busy EMT season this summer. We have responded to cardiac calls, altitude sickness as well as broken arms. We are grateful for all the experience that we get as the main EMTs in our fire district. Always grateful to have AMR & Rocky Mountain Rescue on our calls.

Our summer has been extremely busy with critical calls almost daily. We extricated a patient from one of our local hiking trails who was having a pretty significant health issue. We are always grateful to live in an amazing county that provides quick response from our flight partners.

Our critically injured patient seems to be in his way to recovery. We learned the critical importance of always using our scoop and c-collar following Boulder County protocols. When the mechanism of injury is such (high velocity), taking all precautions and having a high index of suspicion is critical. This patient had multiple critical injuries and our response conditions were extremely challenging.

We just finished a challenging extrication of a patient who was having a massive heart attack in one of Brainard Lake trails. We wheeled our very sick patient for one mile. Fortunately our MedEvac partners landed before everything could go south.
