Today we will be kicking off the holiday with a special Labor Day Celebration for our final Foodlore Friday event of the summer season! Don't miss this one - we will have 1115 Mobile Kitchen serving up delicious chicken sandos and sides, live music by Old School, and we will be featuring Bertinchamps beer in the North Stable - alongside our seasonal lineup of Troddenvale ciders and wines.

As we drift into the last few weeks of summer, we wanted to share a few snippets that capture just how lovely this season has been.

This summer was filled with good food, live music, long evenings on the lawn, and so many familiar and new faces gathered together at the farm. Thank you to everyone who has joined us for Foodlore Fridays thus far. From dancing in the grass to sharing a meal with friends, discovering new local makers to settling in with a glass of cider and listening to thunder rumbling in the distance, you helped make these evenings what they are: simple, memorable gatherings rooted in food, music, community, and place.

Join us for our last Foodlore Friday of the summer this week where we will host 1115 (Eleven Fifteen) in the outdoor kitchen and live music by Old School.

Join us as we kick off the holiday weekend on Friday, July 3, with an evening of local food, live music, and community at Oakley Farm.

This special Independence Day edition of Foodlore Fridays features Fat Tyler's Meats firing up the outdoor kitchen with slow-smoked local pork from Autumn Olive Farms, served alongside smoky cowboy baked beans, smoked mac & cheese, confit tomatoes, garlic collards, and cornbread with honey butter.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy a glass of cider, wine, or beer, browse our local food market, and settle in for live music by Fish Cake.

A wonderful welcome to summer in the mountains.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week as we gathered for Foodlore Fridays at Oakley Farm to welcome the longest day of the year. With live music from Wilson Springs Hotel and sourdough pizza from Penny’s Imperfect Pizza, it was one of those memorable summer evenings spent outdoors, with sweaters and blankets appearing as the sun slipped behind the hills.

The evening reminded us how much of summer is made up of simple things: children dancing barefoot in the grass, bubbles floating across the lawn, music drifting through the valley, and friends gathering around. We heard from many attendees that it was their favorite Foodlore Friday yet.

If you missed this one, there are many more evenings like it ahead. We’re especially looking forward to July 3, when Fat Tyler’s Meats returns for whole hog barbecue to kick off the holiday weekend.

Visit our website to explore the full summer lineup and make plans to join us this season. And if you can’t make it on a Friday, we’re open Thursday through Sunday with cider, wine, local provisions, and a seasonal menu available throughout the weekend.
