A little late with this week’s BNI update — apparently I’m better at fixing cars than remembering to post on Wednesday morning! 😂

We’re getting ready for a BIG Visitor Day on September 16th, and this week we were also happy to welcome Dana, a past member of our chapter who is now serving as a BNI Ambassador.

Dena Jakos owns a mobile notary business and also helps with licenses and permits. It was great having her back with us, this time in her Ambassador role, and we appreciate her being there as we prepare for Visitor Day.

And somehow, George Shaya won Best 30-Second Commercial this week. I’m still not convinced it was actually the commercial — it may have been more of an award for the worst dance moves in BNI history! 😂🕺

But the numbers are definitely worth celebrating:

Over the past 30 days, our chapter has passed more than 120 referrals and generated over $147,000 in Thank You for Closed Business!

Over the past 90 days, we’ve passed more than 340 referrals and generated just under $400,000 in Thank You for Closed Business!

Great job by everyone in the chapter. We’re building some great momentum heading into Visitor Day on September 16th — even if some of us need to work on our dancing… and remembering what day to make the Facebook post! 😂

This week at BNI Ivyland, we had 2 excellent featured speakers:

🔥 Ed Siger from Matrix Restorations, specializing in fire, smoke, and storm damage cleanup, with more than 25 years of experience helping people recover when disaster strikes.

Most importantly, Ed works for YOU, not the insurance company!

🏡 Juan Adames, owner of The Fence Squad, also brings nearly 25 years of experience installing everything from custom and everyday fences to deer fences and security fences. He also specializes in automatic or key pad electronic gates.

Our chapter also passed 32 referrals this week and closed more than $172,000 in business over the past month!

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from BNI Ivyland! 🇺🇸

Before everyone headed into the July 4th holiday weekend, we had another great BNI Ivyland meeting on July 1st.

Our featured speakers were:

Brian Szlachta from Thryv Digital Marketing, who helps businesses grow and get found online.

Rob Smith from Smith Insurance Brokers, specializing in personal lines of insurance.

Both Brian and Rob bring over 15 years of experience in their fields and are great resources for our members, families, friends, and customers.

Even with 6 members away on summer vacation, our chapter still passed 22 referrals!

Even more impressive, in the last 30 days our chapter closed $172,133 in business, and over the last 6 months we have closed $757,000 in business.

That is the power of a strong referral team.
