A shortcut can turn into a much bigger problem. 🔧

On this washer, a poorly done lid-switch bypass left wires that melted into the pressure tube, causing an overflow. That’s what we found when checking this unit.

Yes, that’s lint. And yes, it came out in chunks. 😳

We removed this slightly hardened buildup from the dryer’s blower housing. The lint screen isn’t the whole airflow story—buildup can hide deeper inside the appliance.

Dryer taking too long? Get the problem checked instead of guessing.

We’re using GE’s Service tool on this front-loader. It helps us see the machine’s fault codes, test individual parts, and install software updates when they’re available.

Because sometimes the next step is a software update—not another part.

Sometimes a radiant element fails spectacularly.

That tiny burnt section in the coil is enough to open the circuit and leave you with a burner that won’t heat.

Finding a break this small can take a good eye—especially when you’re looking through an entire radiant element.
