We are committed to interdisciplinary research to find solutions that are reliable, cost-effective, and, most importantly, save lives. Paradigm Research and Engineering is a boutique engineering and design consultancy specialized in sensor safety technologies. Paradigm was awarded two highly competitive Small Business Innovative Research grants from the US Army Tank Automotive Command in Warren, M
ichigan to develop a sensor that detects high impact events and triggers safety systems faster than any products currently on the market due to a patented sensor-magnet hybrid technology. In addition to working on safety and survivability systems, Paradigm has a growing division working on finding paths for fellow Women Owned Small Business looking to commercialize their engineering and design solutions in a variety of sectors including aerospace and automotive. With a successful track record of government contracting and background in academia as well as public policy, Paradigm is uniquely positioned to assist start-ups to navigate the complex world of government contracting and product commercialization. As a business we believe that sound engineering cannot exist without innovative design and an interdisciplinary approach. And that a diversity of perspectives is crucial to any good engineering solution. As owners of a Nontraditional Woman Owned Small Business we take that approach to also believe in good corporate social responsibility and being good community members. To further our mission, we are relocating our offices to a Historically Underutilized Business Zone and are especially excited about our new mentorship program which aims to increase access to the STEM for women and traditionally underrepresented groups in the field.
