Hello, Elks Lodge 802 Members
It’s been a busy couple of months here at your Warsaw Lodge. In November, we held the Veteran’s Day breakfast, which had a great turnout. Then, we had our annual Thanksgiving community dinner. This was the 45th year of this event, and we served 700 meals! A huge thank you goes out to everyone who donated their time and/or financial assistance to this event..
We held the annual Elks Memorial Service on December 7th, and served families of our departed members a spaghetti dinner immediately following the ceremony. On December 20th, we hosted the annual Elks Hoop-Shoot at Lakeview School in Warsaw.
The Maintenance/Management committee is asking for volunteers for a thorough Lodge cleaning on January 10th and 11th beginning at 10 AM. All members are encouraged to come to help with cleaning.
January’s Lodge meeting will be held on January 12, 2026 at 6pm. There will be a couple important items to be voted on during the January meeting.
· A proposal to create a designated smoking room
· Lodge hours of operation
· Bylaw revisions will be read and discussed during the January meeting, and then voted upon at the first meeting in February
We welcome and encourage all members to attend this meeting to have a vote in your Lodge.
On New Years Day the Lodge will be open at 10 AM for a brunch buffet. Also, there will be an Elks float in the Rose Bowl Parade. For more information go to BPO Elks USA on Facebook.
We are currently working to get the Lodge’s page back up and running, we will notify all members when it is functional.
