Frank Ribezzo from Devane, Fogarty & Ribezzo is our feature presenter today. Frank occupies the Family Law seat in our chapter.
Frank ALWAYS speaks about how important it is for his clients to be educated so that they can make informed decisions when it comes to getting divorced, custody, child support and more.

Frank will go over a number of topics that come up when going through a divorce that includes children:
Joint Custody vs Sole Custody
Physical Placement
Shared Placement
Parenting time plans
Child Support

After the initial consult, if the client chooses to move forward with Frank, the second meeting, he will request additional information from the client as far as assets, property settlement agreement, etc.
As far as cost, Frank offers a flat fee on uncontested divorces. If the divorce becomes contested, then they will switch over to an hourly rate. Frank is able to get 95% of his divorce cases resolved without a full trial. He will try cases if necessary.

Unmarried parents are another category of clients that Frank works with frequently. There are close to 50% of unmarried parents in society today. When a couple with children separate, they should consult an attorney immediately, They need to go to court to get placement orders for the children.

Post Final Judgement Motions/Miscellaneous Petition:
After court involvement, if issues arise with paying child support, placement of the child, Frank will assist the client to resolve a situation or a change that has taken place since the final judgement was issued.

Educating the clients as to the process and what they can expect to keep stress to a minimum. He provides them with the facts and lets them make their decisions as to how they would like to proceed.
