Interesting how past projects can follow you. In 2004, I was working as an editor at Capstone Press. I was the editor of a series of children's bios of professional wrestlers, and even wrote a few of them. This morning, I got a call from a reporter in NYC who was working on a documentary on Vince McMahon, the recently-ousted owner of WWE. I explained to the reporter that the book I wrote (Vince McMahon and Family) was a kids' book and was 20 years old, so I'd likely not be a good source for his research. But we had a nice chat and I did refer him to a person with some pro wrestling connections whom I had encountered during my work on those books.
Just goes to show...it's a small world. :)
