Haven’t used electrolysis to clean out a gas tank in a long time. Never done dual tanks at the same time either. Lots of jumper wires and stuff but it’s working like it should when I checked earlier. Hope to have this mid 90’s Fatboy back on the road just in time for the next round of snow and single digit temperatures.

(Waste Management) screwed me out of a bunch of money!!!!!!

This is a little long but I just don’t want anyone to get screwed over like I did. I’ve been a business owner for 20 years and never like to put another business on blast but I really just need to get this off my chest. I had been with Waste Management for my trash service since I opened 20 years ago. I started getting price increases a few years back and called them to say I was switching service. They talked me into staying and dropped my monthly bill for one pick up a month from $120 to $49. I thought it was odd that they could drop the price that much but I agreed to stay with them. Fast forward a few years and I get a $275 charge for an “over loaded dumpster fee” because the lids weren’t fully closed when they picked up. I called and they ended up taking the charge off which I appreciated. A few months later I got a price increase and my bill was almost $80. I called to cancel again and was not staying with them no matter what they did to compensate me. The guy on the phone was very rude and wouldn’t take no for an answer. He eventually told me they could get me to $45. I asked him, why is my bill $80 if you can do it for $45? He said that’s just how it works and they just do price increase regularly. I told him I was done and he kept pressuring me but I refused to continue service. At this point he said fine and knew there was nothing he could do to keep my business. This is where he informed me that he was canceling my service but when they come to pick the dumpster up I would be charged a $275-$350 fee for the removal. I was stunned and even more pi**ed off than I already was. I had to fight with them to remove the dumpster because they wanted to leave it on my property for 90 days and they finally agreed to remove it. Yesterday I received a bill for a month of service that I did not receive as well as the dumpster removal fee of $315 with the total bill being $389.79. All of this after 20 years of being a loyal customer. 20 years and a nice FU at the end. All because I was loyal to a point and then why I decided to change course they said “Well, we’ll get you one last time before you go”. I still can’t believe a company would do this to someone who was loyal to them for 20 years. In the end I went with Pro Waste, a local company that runs an honest business and has a better rate. PLEASE, do not use Waste Management, it’s basically a life time commitment unless you want to get screwed if you close your business or decide to go with a better company.
