Nono's Taqueria in Arlington has 4.5 stars on yelp with 56 reviews. Nono's is unique in that it was popular out of the gate on day 1. Just months after opening, they have attracted lines that snake around the block, and will sell out tacos. How did they achieve this popularity? Through positive online presence, bolstered by social media.

The owner got his start from selling birria tacos through Instagram, out of an apartment complex. His popularity soared when a user made a short video clip on TIkTok and it was shared amongst a wide community which went viral. Eventually, due to the popularity, his home-based business got shut down by the health department and left the customers waiting for a storefront. The owner did find a location and announced it via social media, and his followers came and packed his place. The excellent reviews are due to the excellent food, but also due to the communication the business has through social media, and the customers that post positive comments about the food generates excitement. Our services not only include consulting on garnering a positive online presence but also creating social media video clips such as TIkTok for advertisement.

Once a week, I'll be highlighting a local business that has achieved 4+ stars on yelp and reviews that aligned with how I reviewed it at well.

SUNY Sushi opened up in an Asian Market in Annandale, a place considered a "hidden gem" because you would not know it's in here unless you were shopping inside the market. It currently has 48 reviews, and has a full 5-star rating on yelp, getting 5 stars with that many reviews is rare. What makes this feat rarer is for a casual sushi joint inside a food court of a grocery to achieve a high rating, most sushi places in malls, universities, are all rated pretty bad. So what sets SUNY Sushi apart, and achieved a rarified 5-star rating?

The value and the food here stand out for a casual sushi vendor. The nigiri rolls are generous with the fish to rice ratio. The fish is much larger than the rice, with a generous portion. I've seen the mistake that other sushi restaurants make, which is trying to appear they are giving value by offering a larger roll by way of giving more rice, but this throws off the ratio and makes the place seem they trying to give the illusion they are giving more food, and turns away customers. The good quality while selling at an affordable price served in a casual setting is the draw here. The food court was busy when I went, and most of them got the sushi from SUNY Sushi. SUNY Sushi has just opened recently but they are well-positioned to stay successful and have a constant stream of customers for a long time.

Hello everyone! Andrew's Positive Online Presence Consulting was created to provide new businesses a way to receive a completely unbiased and honest review. This service also includes current businesses who wish to improve their review scores into a *positive* zone that would attract numerous new customers based on positive reviews that outnumber other businesses.

Guidance on achieving positive review scores will be provided as part of this service, but also how to expand your online presence to reach a wider audience. My specialty lies within restaurants and bars, however, I provide consulting for all types of businesses. I have used reviewing platforms extensively over the last decade.

On yelp (https://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=8MlBmpm6S2nxeQ5eCgl3rA), I have over 423 reviews, and I've eaten at thousands of restaurants/eateries all over the world and at almost every state within the US. I have based my decisions on where to eat primarily through the use of reviewing platforms such as Yelp. I've gone to all types of establishments, from 3-star Michelin-rated restaurants to casual eateries such as food trucks/stands on the street. The key to obtaining good reviews is not simply having the best food or the best service, but to exceed the expectations placed on the type of business, be it a casual eatery or a fine dining establishment. My experience and knowledge of which businesses receive good reviews are what I can apply to other businesses.

Achieving and maintaining a positive online presence is so important these days that it can make or break businesses, and it is only going to become more important as more people use review platforms to determine where they go next. It is stressful opening and running a business; I want to help businesses succeed. I've been to businesses that needed just small tweaks that I felt would have made a big difference and might have prevented them from closing down.

I've written hundreds of reviews for folks to gain information on businesses, and now I help businesses see the perspective of online reviewers and what it would take to receive positive reviews in order to have a better chance at succeeding.

Rates are $100 per consulting engagement. Businesses are not limited to restaurants as I have researched and written reviews on all types of businesses from review platforms.
