For more than 150 years, African American communities across the United States have observed this holiday. Today, Juneteenth celebrations span the world, with the global diaspora adopting the day as one to recognize emancipation at large. True leadership is demonstrated by actions and behaviors and not necessarily through your position or title. At this week's Wild Network's Global Leadership Development Forum, we heard from some of Tetra Tech young leaders, and we are proud to see The Kaizen Company Morgan Hinton smiling face among one of them.

These were just a few of the many lessons shared by four of Tetra Tech's young leaders at this week's WILD Network’s 2022 Women in Global Leadership Development Forum. Speaking from their personal and professional journeys, Emma, Lo, Morgan, and Nathalie shared tips for young professionals to find the confidence to raise their voices and advised senior leaders on how they can create a more workplace culture.

Through its Positive Masculinities project, engaged “migrant men to examine masculinity and gendered power structures. The goal: By putting men at the center of GBV prevention efforts, they became frontline change agents who are committed to ending violence against women and girls”.

Positive Masculinities is one of several initiatives of the – a partnership between USAID - US Agency for International Development and Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo – which funds and scales innovations that support Venezuelans and host communities impacted by the displacement of Venezuelans.
