And then… boom. Something explodes.

Classic Bullwinkle. 😂

Honestly? That’s what entrepreneurship can feel like.
​
You try a thing…
​
You follow a proven method…
​
You hit publish…
​
PRESTO!!! 💥💥💥
​​..and instead of results, you get smoke.
​
𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 — 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲. ​

If your strategy isn’t working, check your identity — not just your tactics.

Ever saved a recipe because the photo looked amazing and the ingredients sounded good but when you made it, it tasted... awful? 🤢

𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱.

For a long time, I thought I had to be more polished, more professional, more “perfect” to be taken seriously online.
​
But that wasn’t me, at least, not fully.
​
Give me the right topic, and I’ll go full pro: dot every “i,” cross every “t.”
​
But overall? I’m not about being pretentious or uptight.
​
Once I allowed my actual energy to show up in my business, ​ everything changed.
​
You don’t need a polished voice.
You need a true one . . .
​
Because people don’t just connect with sophistication, they connect with resonance.
​
And the more aligned your energy, tone, and presence are with who you truly are, the more your message begins to magnetize the right clients.

People don’t just connect with what you do . . . they connect with how you make them feel.

I’m all about steps, structure, and working smart — not just hard.

So following “proven templates” should be the way to go, right?

Absolutely not.

Here’s what I found: What works for one person won’t work for everyone.

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆!!!

Recently, I took my kids to see the new Minecraft movie.
​
Let me go on record: the movie was… not great — but it’s a box office smash.
​
𝗪𝗵𝘆?
​
Because it delivered exactly what its audience wanted.
​
Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time, with over 170 million active players.
​
And most of them showed up for this movie — because it spoke their language.
​
Even Jack Black, who had never played the game before being cast, dove into it enough to squeeze out meme-worthy moments that made fans happy.
​
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀:

If you weren’t the intended audience, the creators didn’t care.
The movie wasn’t made for you.
​
And that’s the exact energy you need to serve your ideal client.
What you have to offer is not for everyone.
​
So if you’re feeling disconnected from your offer, your clients, or your content — it may be time to reflect:

• Are you building something true to you?
• Are you serving the right audience?
• Are you trying to impress the critics instead of delighting your people?

Your best work doesn’t need mass approval.
​
It needs to resonate with your niche.

Even if no one else gets it.
