Happy New Year from KT White Law Careers!!

As I begin my fifth year in my private career coaching business, I want to thank all of you who have worked with me, and who have referred clients to me, since I founded this business in 2010. I’m proud to say 50% of my referrals have come from friends and people who worked with me at my prior firms -- and found me either through LinkedIn or in other ways. Another 36% of my business has come from other consultants, and I thank them all very much. (For those of you with analytical minds, the remaining 14% came from former clients and people who found me on the Internet.)

My work continues, and I’m grateful to have some new clients to start off 2014. Current projects range from helping seasoned attorneys prepare career plans as a road map for their next move, customizing relationship building techniques for a junior partner moving into a more active business development role, coaching attorneys about the law firm performance evaluation process and how to prepare for next steps, and offering individualized interview training and practice sessions. Finally, I am partnering with an executive coach on the West Coast to offer group-coaching sessions (think “Lean In”) for a women’s group here in DC. More to come as this project develops!
