I took my snickerdoodle recipe and swapped the regular butter for browned butter. They were delicious and comforting before, now they are crazy addictive😅
If you don't know what brown butter is, you're missing out, IMO.

What a weekend!!!! It was such a pleasure and a blessing to be able to celebrate my best friend's 40th!
I'm not gonna lie, there's always SUCH a panic traveling with a cake that's already stacked (it's secured with a dowel but still 😅)
Bestie asked for strawberry shortcake flavors(traditional not the good humor bar). Vanilla cake layers with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

Pisces ♓️ season has arrived in my household and with many of my closest friends🥰
I tried this thread (embroidery) look on the top I saw from another cake decorator. Jury's still out on how I feel about it😅 so much piping!
This cake is a gf lemon vanilla with a thin layer of lemon curd and thicker layer of blackberry filling pipped in monochromatic green. ♓️ symbol in gold.

These little cuties made their valentine's day debut to a few of the teachers and a classroom at Learn DC 🥰
I haven't made macarons since I left CA, so it was a little nerve-wracking. The climate out here is ever changing and these cute little cookies are temperamental ‼️
