Marina Hardy's election predictions: "With fear of energy job losses and agriculture policy concerns, Trump carries Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Florida stays red over fears of further economic damage if Biden were to impose a universal lockdown, while McCain Republicans break for Biden in Arizona.

Republicans will maintain a slim majority in the Senate - 51 to 49. Both of Georgia’s runoff races will ultimately break Republican, as will Iowa. Watch for impact of Montana’s cannabis ballot initiative affecting turnout. "

Brian McLaughlin makes his 2020 predictions:

"The Biden campaign is steadily ahead across the major battleground states. Turnout increases as a result of vote by mail and early voting; proving President Trump fears, there is too large a deficit to overcome with a very strong election day turnout. Biden’s strength in victory comes from higher personal favorability than Trump, lack of a third-party alternative for disaffected voters, and improved results for Democrats in the suburbs, especially amongst women. Biden also ends up running even with President Trump amongst the 65+ voter segment.

In the Senate, very tight races give Democrats enough seats for a 50-48 Senate and a tie or tidal wave resting on massive stakes in parallel runoff races in Georgia which will be decided January 5. Republicans rebound and ultimately win both runoff races. Yet, Democrats ultimately control the Senate with VP Harris breaking ties."

Jordon Sims makes his 2020 election predictions: "Vice President Biden isn’t repeating the same Clinton 2016 mistake by keeping resources in Michigan despite mainstream polling leads. The population centers for Pennsylvania and Michigan will drive the outcome via African American turnout and suburban women leaning blue compared to 2016. The provocative sleeper is Nevada. Shutdown fatigue across service unions and increased Hispanic support could keep the Silver State from being GOP “fools gold.” The Republicans will keep the Senate 51-49."
