Great news for Milwaukee County!

At Senator Baldwin’s request, the following projects were included in the first round of the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Funding Bill (LHHS) and Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) FY22 Appropriations bills:

$2.539 million to support construction of the Mental Health Emergency Center

$2 million for Milwaukee County Transit bus replacement

Also, the first round of the Senate Appropriations Committee draft bill for FY22 Congressional Directed Spending requests included:

$800,000 for our client, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District’s (MMSD), urban reforestation and wetland restoration initiative

On May 17, 2019, the cranberry industry finally received some good news amidst the ongoing trade war. The White House announced it reached a trade agreement with Mexico and Canada—the U.S. will suspend Section 232 Steel and Aluminum tariffs and in response, Mexico and Canada will suspend their retaliatory tariffs.
