CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

ALBERT ACADEMY OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION

It is with deepest sorrow and profound sadness that the Albert Academy Old Boys Association mourns the passing of our former Principal, Mr. Fofi Kowa, who passed away today, 5th September 2026.

Mr. Fofi Kowa was more than a school administrator; he was a dedicated educator, mentor, disciplinarian, and a significant part of the Albert Academy family. His service and commitment to the education and development of generations of students will forever remain a cherished part of our school’s history.

His passing is a great loss to his family, former students, colleagues, the Albert Academy community, and the wider educational community. We will always remember his contributions, leadership, and the lasting impact he made during his time with us.

At this difficult moment, the Albert Academy Old Boys Association extends its deepest condolences to his immediate family, relatives, friends, former colleagues, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

May the Almighty grant his family strength, comfort, courage, and peace during this difficult period.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Fofi Kowa.

The death toll in Nepal's flood crossed 1,000, as rescuers used heavy machinery, helicopters and excavators to reach the thousands still missing, nearly a week after the catastrophic ‌Himalayan disaster left a trail of destruction across towns and valleys.

Specialized rescue teams from China, India and Nepal built temporary bridges to reach remote areas and dug through the ruins of hydropower projects in the Himalayas, using excavators to rescue close to 300 workers trapped inside tunnels

Rescuers used heavy machinery, helicopters and excavators to reach the thousands still missing, nearly a week after the catastrophic ‌Himalayan disaster left a trail of destruction across towns and valleys.
