Connections beyond the meeting room. 🏈

⭐️ One of the highlights of the FRA 2026 Joint National & Lake States Region Fall Meeting was an unforgettable evening at Lambeau Field, made possible by the generous support of our Diamond Sponsor, Green Bay Packaging.

🏟️ FRA members enjoyed a private VIP tour of the stadium, including the incredible experience of walking through the same tunnel the Green Bay Packers take onto the field on game day.

🏆 The evening continued with a reception inside the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, where members had exclusive access to exhibits and memorabilia celebrating the rich history of one of football’s most storied teams.

🙌 It was a truly special Green Bay experience and a great opportunity for FRA members to connect, enjoy time together, and make some memories along the way.

🏆 Congratulations to FRA’s 2026 Lake States Region Technical Writing Award recipients, Scott Bowe and Matt Bumgardner!

Bowe, Professor of Wood Products at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Bumgardner, Research Forest Products Technologist with the USDA Forest Service Forest Products Laboratory, were recognized for their Technical Release, “An Overview of the Hardwood Industry in the 21st Century.”

Their release examines the major forces that have reshaped the U.S. hardwood lumber sector, from changing domestic demand and global trade to evolving markets and industry efficiency.
