I cannot decide which I like more… red on blue or blue on red.

I’ve been playing around with this combination on our Strawberry placemat, and every time I think I’ve landed on a favorite, I change my mind again. At this point, I’m very tempted to alternate them at each place setting and call it a day…that way I don’t have to choose 🙃

The answer to a beautiful spring table is layers, layers, layers!

I don’t follow strict rules when I set a table but there are a few little tips and tricks I come back to because they take the guesswork out of setting a table layered with patterns...

✨The Sandwich Method✨
Pick a main color and an accent color. Use the main color for your first and third layers and the accent in the middle.

✨Pattern Scaling✨
Stick with two colors and mix pattern scale... pairing a larger print with a smaller one gives the table depth while still keeping it cohesive.

✨Monochromatic✨
You can’t go wrong with choosing different shades of the same color... they almost always look good together!

You’ve been seeing our Blue Cane paper plates on my table all spring and I feel like they deserve their own proper moment!

Dare I say they’re the quiet hero of the spring collection...they’re the easiest neutral to match with as the soft blue works with just about every color and the cane pattern layers so nicely with all of the bolder prints on the table. I keep reaching for them again and again, which is kind of obvious as they are included in almost all of our spring shoots and bundles 🙃

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I can’t think of a sweeter way to celebrate than with the Pink Posey table!

I loved painting our new Nasturtium pattern...crazy to think painted it all the way back in September! I've always loved patterns that layer whimical flowers on top of bold stripes and I was so excited to create one for our spring collection.

Seeing this placemat paired with our blue cane plates just makes me want to throw an al fresco brunch for the gals! The monochromoatic look and subtle texture of the cane plates makes this table setting bundle feel casual yet layered, which is just the vibe I am trying to create when sipping mimosas under the spring sun.

Now here is to waiting for the weather to get warm enough in DC to plan this al fresco brunch....

Our napkins genuinely surprise people when they touch them...

They feel like linen in your hands... soft, absorbent, and nothing like what comes to mind when someone says paper napkin. The kind you put on your Easter table without a second thought.

And when dinner is done? You just throw them away. No laundry waiting for you the next morning...

I created our Full Bloom pattern so it could seamlessly mix and match with all the spring colors... and layer beautifully with what you already have!
