Embark Aviation is proud to welcome Mark Moessner as Managing Director. With over two decades of leadership at American Airlines, Mark brings a rare blend of operational depth, strategic vision, and commercial acumen to our team. His experience spans regional airline operations, strategic partnerships, and fleet planning—making him uniquely equipped to help our clients navigate today’s complex aviation landscape.

Over his 20-year career at American Airlines, Mark held leadership roles across operations, finance, and commercial strategy—serving as Managing Director in both operational and commercial divisions. While in Fleet Planning, he helped shape American’s 30-year aircraft strategy across a fleet of ~1,000 aircraft, ensuring a strong network could rely on an appropriate and adequate fleet. Later, he led Strategic Alliances & Partnerships, strengthening American’s global network through interline, codeshare, and loyalty programs with both legacy and emerging carriers in the U.S. and beyond.

As head of American Eagle Operations & Planning, Mark oversaw the planning, operational performance and delivery of three wholly owned airlines and several contract providers, driving consistent customer experience across a $6B regional portfolio. Subsequently, he then led the relaunch of the American Airlines Cadet Academy, pioneering an industry-first pathway that guaranteed aspiring pilots a job at American through flight school partnerships. In his final role, Mark joined Global Sales during a pivotal transformation, helping rebuild trust with key agency and corporate partners and laying the foundation for a revitalized commercial strategy.

Known for his trustworthy and inclusive leadership style, Mark inspires teams through shared opportunity and authentic connection—earning results not through hierarchy, but through chemistry and clarity of purpose. Mark’s arrival strengthens Embark’s commitment to delivering tailored, high-impact solutions for regional airlines, investors, and aviation stakeholders. Mark resides in Prosper, Texas, with his wife, Alisha, and four young kids. We’re thrilled to have him on board.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Ben Crandall to the Embark team! Ben will be joining Embark as Director, Revenue Technologies and Strategy.

Ben's experience covers pricing, inventory, PSS and digital sales technologies, and Revenue Accounting, including NDC/Order and Offer. Ben will be assisting clients in developing strategies and solutions to reach new sales channels and to strategically engage competitors through existing and emerging technologies. At Embark, Ben has helped clients launch foreign sales platforms, adopt and implement ATPCO Branding and Ancillaries products, and develop revenue analysis platforms to analyze traffic pre and post flight. Ben's fluency in Spanish also allows Embark to effectively engage with more airlines throughout the Americas.

Prior to joining Embark, Ben served as Director, Revenue Management at Alaska Airlines, and in similar roles with America West, Continental, and Amadeus. At America West, he developed the airline’s pricing portfolio on Priceline during their initial product launch. At Alaska, he developed the carrier’s first revenue database and launched the carrier’s first branding schema as well as automate Off-tariff and Web sales channels. At Continental and America West, he served in oversight roles as these carriers migrated from SystemOne to Amadeus pricing.

ALWAYS a pleasure visiting with our friends and partners at Air North, Yukon's Airline. We had very productive meetings around PRM data and analytics, PRM strategy, PRM-Revenue Accounting, and much more. We're excited to work with the 4N PRM team to help them take it to the next level! Expanding inventory classes = expanding revenue opportunities. Contour has experienced significant growth – tripling in size in just a few years. Their innovative approach to the Essential Air Service program (EAS) has led to significant market stimulation with a goal of market economic sustainability. With traffic growth and alignment towards a portfolio of partners, Contour outgrew their existing Pricing and Revenue Management (PRM) strategy.

Embark went to work to redefine the strategy which included expanding the number inventory classes, restructuring pricing, and revamped inventory management. Central to the PRM changes was the expansion of more (pricing) inventory classes. The result created dedicated classes for interline connecting fares and an expanded number of fares. This larger portfolio of fares allows Contour to segment revenue more effectively and offer more dynamic, low fare options.

The goal will be to continue optimizing revenues by generating more demand and maximizing load factor. Kudos to Geri Britten-Kelley, Clint Ostler, and Kirk Seitz and our friends at Hitit and Accelya (airRM).

Embark is excited to announce that the company has appointed Jamie Kogutek and Clint Ostler to serve as Managing Partners. In this capacity, Jamie and Clint will serve as the company’s senior partners, responsible for company operations, client support, and business development.

Jamie has been with Embark Aviation and has served as a Vice President since 2016. During his time with Embark, Jamie has led the firm’s engagements in the areas of network planning, schedule planning, alliances, and distribution. His portfolio of supported clients and engagements includes major, regional, and low-cost airlines. Prior to Embark, Jamie had industry leadership experience from America West Airlines, AirTran Airways, and Silver Airways.

Clint also joined Embark Aviation in 2016, joining the firm after serving in leadership roles at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Clint has been Embark’s leader focused on pricing, revenue management, marketing, and air service development. His client portfolio includes airlines, airports, and various government agencies.

Prior to joining Embark, John’s industry experience includes leadership roles with United Airlines, Edinburgh Airport, Flybe, and Norse Atlantic Airways.
