Global Minnesota is partnering with the World Health Organization to host a virtual symposium on World Health Day, April 7th. The theme chosen by the WHO for World Health Day 2021 is “Health Equity and Equality.” This free event will feature two dozen local, national and international leaders from a wide range of public and private institutions, including the WHO and UNICEF, and from healthcare and medical innovation companies including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fairview Health Services, Hennepin Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, UBS, United Healthcare Global and the University of Minnesota.
