Big congratulations to Marvin B. Figueroa on being named Virginia’s new Secretary of Health and Human Resources!

Abigail Spanberger picked a great leader for this role. Marvin brings deep experience in both federal and state health policy and has spent years working at the highest levels of public service.

He’s previously served as Chief of Staff to Senator Laphonza Butler, as Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Resources under Ralph Northam, and on the staff of Senator Mark Warner. Wishing him all the best in this new role!
