According to a new report from Ellucian, 56% of current college students are working full-time while they pursue their degrees. That figure rises to 62% among first-generation students, and 72% for students at HBCUs and MSIs. The report also found that many students face heavy financial pressures, with 58% saying they are forced to choose between paying for college and covering their basic needs.
