With the release of WhistlePig Wh***ey Boss Hog XIII: The Golden Pharaoh, we decided to go all the way back to where Boss Hog began.

And channel our inner LeBron James James while we were at it.

Today, we’re showcasing not 1, not 2, not 3, but yes all four variations of the ORIGINAL WhistlePig Boss Hog release — together in one place.

Most collectors have seen the two primary versions, Boss Hog and Spice Dancer, each of which was released across multiple single barrels.

But then there are the unicorns.

First Step and McDonnell — two variations represented by just ONE single barrel each. McDonnell was named for one of WhistlePig’s early investors, making it an especially interesting piece of the brand’s history.
