While my team focuses on organizing homes/business & relocations, we get to do something different around the holidays. Each Halloween, we decorate homes for clients. One project this year enjoyable to create from SCRATCH. There are 3 different scenes - aliens from Planet Pumpkin, a group of witches around their cauldron in a grave yard, and a 12' skeleton guarding the entrance to the catacombs. Take a look at these photos, we're really proud of this project. OH - and you'll also see a few of these tomorrow in the second hour of Good Morning America when they do a story on decorated homes for Halloween.

Fast forward to today when I had to move again, I decided to use them a second time for my most recent move. Don't toss those glasses! You can drop them in the mail so kids in another country can use them.

Congratulations to those of you who used proper solar eclipse glasses and witnessed the phenomenon without permanently damaging your vision. Good job! But now you’re probably wondering what to do with those flimsy pieces of cardboard and black polymer that were basically priceless just hours ago.

Do you see the clutter in your home as money preventing you from retiring early? It is an interesting take on wasted money. The only issue I have with the article is how the writer repeatedly says to throw things in the trash. With all the waste we see in homes and offices we encourage thoughtful donations and recycling whenever possible.

The useless clutter around your house used to be money. When I see clutter, I wish I still had the money instead of the stuff.

"We moved across the country last week and were totally overwhelmed with unpacking. We have two little boys and I'd broken my foot the week before...not ideal for getting a whole house put together with any amount of speed. Two lovely ladies from The Organizing Agency appeared the day after we arrived and managed to get every single box out of our house. They were meticulous, folding and putting away clothes, arranging books on bookshelves, finding places for everything in the kitchen, and setting up my boys' room in the cutest way. "I never like to spend money on something I think I can do myself, after all, I am a smart, well educated, successful person. However, I realized I seek professionals for maintenance and repairs on my home, my health, and why shouldn't I hire a professional for these areas that were so critical to my daily life but which eluded my skill set. I am surely glad I did. Scott is a gifted communicator, with very positive energy, and razor sharp intuition. Like good legal assistance, he provides a dispassionate perspective which allows me the capability to sift through an accumulation of items which had great psychological attachment. I really look forward to each visit. His organizing advice and work ethic, inspire me to continue what I have learned after his departure. I really knew after winter passed and I had not made any significant headway into cleaning out compounded accumulation....thirty year military career, a new business career using my home office, and managing my recently passed parents estate, that I needed assistance and a level of organizing I did not possess. Now, I am completely empowered and feel renewed energy from walking into my now functioning space. I know once Scott helps me compartmentalize the functionalities and choose the right product to replace the inadequate closet shelving, my office will be a place I truly love to go to each morning.
