Such an interesting bit of research that really highlights the power of protests in the hands of the historically disadvantaged on getting legislators to listen. However, the data relied on was from the period of 1991-1995, when legislators were perhaps more responsive to raised voices with different opinions. I wonder if the conclusions would be similar in a post-Obama world?
